My info starts with the basics from The Conger Family of America. Then, I updated and corrected as needed using Census, vital records, newspapers, cemeteries and church records from Crittenden Co KY.

Your Elisha Wilson Conger was the son of Ira Thomas & Mary E (Felker) Conger. I believe he was their only child. Mary d. 3-24-1874 & Ira Thomas married Joanna (Wiley) Harmon. I do not know where or when they died.

Ira Thomas was the 2nd of the 9 children of Elisha & Jane (Conger) Conger. Elisha b. 8-23-1820 in Smith Co TN & d. 4-20-1885; Jane b. 1-1-1824 & d. 4-1898. He is buried in Crooked Creek Cem north of Marion in Crittenden Co KY; if she is buried there, she has no marker. Their children were: 1. Joshua 1845-1862; 2. Ira Thomas; 3. Lemuel P 1850-1900, buried Crittenden Co; 4. Payton N 1853-1885, buried Crittenden Co (descendant in this line married one of my mother's cousins); 5. Malinda Jane 1856-1872; 6. Elisha J 1858-d. young; 7. Sarah E 1860-1891, buried Crooked Creek Cem; 8. Emmanuel S, twin, 1866-1933, buried Crooked Creek Cem; 9. Nathaniel 1866-d. young. The 1820 Elisha Conger was the son of John & Jonca (Pigg) Conger, both of whom lived & died in Smith Co TN. I got interested in this family because I have five generations buried in Crooked Creek Cem, and my mother & grandmother knew & talked about so many of the Congers. Anything else I might have you would like, let me know. The line goes back to a Belconger in MA.
