Thank you, Richard. Since you mentioned William Conger, let's start with him. This is what I know so far: From "The Conger Family of America," compiled by Maxine Crowell Leonard, 1972, page 17: Alfred Conger, born 1811; died 6 Jan 1865, was the son of William & Margaret (McNab) Conger. He married, first, his brother's widow--Charity Ann Snyder Conger. Charity was born 4 Dec 1811 and died 1 Apr 1845. They had three children--Adeline, Margaret Adelia, and James Conger.

My questions the dates and places of birth, death and marriage for William and Margaret; same for the children mentioned, and the name and info on Alfred's brother. Were there other siblings?

My interest is in Berne families, so any of the Conger's who lived in Berne I would like to have in my records. If you can give me a descendant chart of William and Margaret for the generations that lived in Berne that would answer all of my questions.

Thanks so much for your offer of help.

Hal Miller
