Hi Dick,

The 1850 census of Johnson Country,Arkansas shows a
John P Conger married to Mary Clubb. They are from Smith County Tn.

The children are Jincey age 8 Female
Ozias age 6 Male
John D age 4 Male
Joshuad age 2 Male

Mary is to have showed up in the 1860 census ( I have not looked it up myself, but have been told )
From an old picture that I have Mary was born 1855.

The marriage record which is in Logan Country says that Mary was 20 in 1879 when she married James.

My record shows that Archie Harrison, James and Mary's son was born in 1878, Logan Country Arkansas.

I wonder if the marriage record (which I have not seen) should have read 1875.This would have put Mary the correct age and my Grandfather Archie being born after the marriage of James and Mary and not before.
