Mrs. Frank Conger 1880's artist

I am researching a woman artist, active in the 1880's, who signed some of her paintings "Mrs. Frank Conger". She likely has some connection with Washington, D.C. (some of her art supplies came from a store there).

The best lead I have so far is Julia Conger, who was born in DC in 1861. In 1880 she was living in Port Huron, Michigan, with her husband Frank, an attorney's clerk there. Frank was born in 1852 in Michigan. Both of his parents were born in NY. Both of Julia's parents were born in Maine.

Any information about this particular Julia Conger, or any Mrs. Frank Conger who may have been an artist in the 1880's, would be much appreciated. Thanks.
