Hello there,
Up until this morning, I had little to no concrete information about my father's side of the family. My father (Douglas Swanson) finally shared with me that his paternal grandmother was named Delphia Conger. A quick search online, and I was easily able to trace our roots all the way back to the Belcongers of England- fascinating stuff!!
My dad recalls his grandmother talking about how she descended from the last queen of Prussia, who was ousted when the Prussian government fell. Does anyone have any information on how Delphia might have been related to Prussian Royalty? Since her father's side goes all the way back to the Belcongers, I'm thinking it was probably on her mother's side of the family,if there's any truth to this story.
If anyone has any information, it would be greatly appreciated!!
