Sherry, I stumbled across your message in an attempt to connect the dots with my side of the Georgia Congers. First, according to "The Conger Family Of America" compiled by Maxine Leonard, the information you have in your posting is correct. However, as I have found most recently, this compilation is good for family history but is not considered "offical" by DAR or SAR as there are no cited sources (census etc) to validate the information. I do have a photo of Millard Fillmore Conger and his bride Kandis Serbila's last resting places at Ramah First Baptist Church in Palmetto, Ga. Please contact me by email if I can be of any added help. Seems my great grandfather was raised by Millard (his Uncle) when he was born three months after his father had died.
