Yes, it would be funny if you were the "Uppity ones."Those were my great grandfathers words, not mine.He always said part of the family changed their names because Congo wasn't good enough for them.Who knows why they changed their names!Maybe the "revenuers" were after them!Anyhow, my mother who is 82, remembers Woody Congo bringing candy to her and her brothers and sisters at Christmas time.And, My grandfather, Fred Winfield Congo, 927 Commerce St., Wellsville, died 1968, said that Woody was his cousin.
