Sharon thank you for your reply to my message. Michael Conlan who was my great grandfather's brother was executed in Hobart Town in 1851. There is no trace of their brother Patrick who was born circa 1860. Could he have gone to Texas perhaps. How old was your Michael. Was he young enough to be Patrick's son?
