The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, April 4, 1907
WILL GOBLE, CAL KING and BILLY CONNORS loaded their cars at Russell,Saturday, and shipped for their claims in South Dakota. On Tuesday another colony left Russell for western South Dakota, securing claims there last fall. They were ASA PRICE, HARLAN KING, CHAS. RUARK and MR. PLYMATE, the
blacksmith. These families all go to found homes in the new country. They expect to locate where ENOCH LOUDON and BERT TABER have pitched their tents. When will the stream of emigration cease?
