Martin Conroy b. Ireland, Civil War Soldier, Connecticut resident

Does anyone have this Martin Conroy in their research. He was born 1840 in Ireland, came here with Bridget in 1862. It looks as though he was drafted into the Union Army as soon as his ship arrived in New York. He is enlisted in the infantry out of Brooklyn, into the 169th regiment. Martin served 3 years in the Union army and later settles in Connecticut. I am researching Martin's brother, (who doesn't appear to be nearly so interesting) and would like to collaborate with any interested parties.
