Hello James:

Your Clantygora is likely a corruption of Clontygora, a 1,205 acre townland in Armagh parish.

I research the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 12,000,000 surviving rcds for abt 65% of Irish counties. Rcds are increasingly sparse B4 1840, rare B4 1800.

Note 1 - Without a KNOWN county, the chance of an ancestor's rcds NOT being in this database is AT LEAST 35%.

Note 2 - Only 1/2 of Co. Cork's rcds are in this database.

Note 3 - The RC church kept control over most parish rcds from Tipperary (north). These are ONLY available thru the Tipperary Family History Research center at a substantial fee (regardless of outcome).

For Catherine Convery B 1877 (exact), Co. Armagh, with a father forenamed Bernard, I found just 1 rcd. The parish was Upr Killeavy.

For Thomas Convery B ????, ditto, upr Killeavy, I found 2 rcds: 1857 and 1869.

For Ann(e) Convery B ditto, I found 1 rcd in 1875.

For Bernard Convery M ????, Co. Armagh, I found 1 rcd in 1868, Upr Killeavy.

For Br(idget) Murphy M ditto, I found 1 rcd in 1868, Upr Killeavy.

For Bernard Convery B ????, Upr Killeavy, Co. Armagh, I found 1 rcd in 1846 within a relevant range. The father's forename was also Bernard.

For Bridget Murphy B 1848 +/- 4 yrs, ditto, I found 7 rcds: 1844, 1845, 2-1846, 1847, 1850, and 1851. Father's respective forenames were "Thos", Bryan, James, Owen, "Jas", Dan(iel), and Thomas

For Michael Flannery, Co. Clare rcds aren't in the database yet. Suggest you wait until they are. This may take a long time; be patient.

For Bernard Convery B 1821 +/- 4 yrs, Co. Armagh, I found 0 rcds in either Armagh parish, or in the rest of Ireland.

Google the Foundation's name to lead you to this database. Register, opt to be notified as rcds are added and browse. Pls post your search results to my genforum msg.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
