Thank you for your previous help,
I believe that this Martin Conroy is the brother to my Great Grandfather, John Conroy, born April 10, 1849. By using your data base, I found a John Conroy, baptised 28/04/1849 in Rusmuck, the parish is ROSMUC. This is in Co. Galway, the religion is listed as Roman Catholic, the father is Martin Conroy and mother is Ellen McCormack. The Reverend was J. O'Boyle and sponsor #2 was Ellen Allen. Could you please tell me how I might find more information on this family in the Irish records?

From the US census, I calculate that John Conroy emmigrated to the United States in 1868. He married Bridget Malone Dec 4, 1870 in Hartford Connecticut.
Patty Conroy
