Dear Lynne: I am trying to locate any information regarding my granfather Thomas Edwin Constantine, I don't know his birth date nor his birth place but I do know that he was living in the Manchester area. He had 3 children-Thomas, Henry & Betty. Thomas Jr.(born Sept.9,1927) was my father.
Thomas Sr. was a merchant seaman, he married a Mexican woman named Adolphina(my grandmother)all 3 of the children were born in Mexico. Unfortunately he brought his family to England then abandoned them, the children were put into an orphanage and his wife had a nervous breakdown, she was put into an institution near Middlesborough where she died in 1977. Many years before she died my grandfather married a woman named Ivy??
Thomas Jr. my father, married my mother in Manchester, and this is where I was born..we then immigrated to Canada. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Barbara Adolphina Constantine
