C. W. Constantine Died In Madison.

C. W. Constantine of Madison, known to many in this vicinity died Monday, Aug. 22, at his home.

Mr. Constantine was 71 years old and had been in poor health for the past four years and about six weeks ago broke his hip in a fall which hastened his demise.

Chester Constantine was born at Waterville, N. Y. Jan. 7, 1866. His parents moved to Wisconsin and settled in Sauk Co. in 1870. He graduated from the Reedsburg high school and attended the Bryant and Stratton business school in Chicago and in 1885 entered the merchantile business in Richland Center.

Mr. Constantine was married to Miss Hattie Hulburt of Loganville who died some years ago. To them were born two daughters, Hazel and Helen, the former preceded her father in death.

Mr. Constantine was married a second time and his widow, daughter Helen of Sioux Falls, S. Dak. and three grandsons Howard and Phillip Peirce of Sioux Falls, S. Dak. and Herbert Dickinson of Madison.

Funeral services were held in Madison Wednesday and interment made there.
