Lynne,
Thomas is a common name in my family for a number of generations. It was usually the name given to the eldest son.
Where abouts do your Constantines come from.
I have traced mine to around 1800 in Central Manchester but am unable to find where they have come from.
The men were nearly all connected with wood working trades.
