Hello Tina,

Some of my ancestors are CONSTANTINES of Hebden/Burnsall. My ggggrandfather Richard CONSTANTINE (born about 1795 in Hebden) married Ellen HEBDEN (also born about 1795 in Hebden) in 1824 at St Wilfrids Parish Church, Burnsall.

Children (all born Appletreewick): John (bap 1824), Mary (bap1826), Ellen (bap 1828) , Joseph (bap 1832).

John, Joseph & Ellen were still living with their parents in 1851. Mary seems to have married a Constantine STOCKDALE at Burnsall in 1848.

John married Frances BIRKETT of Boston, Lincs in 1854 (at St. Wilfrids, Burnsall). Children: Ellen (bap 1855), Elizabeth Mary (bap 1858), Jane (bap 1855 - Ellen's twin?)) & Joseph Hebden (bap 1864).

Ellen married Samuel WHITELEY at Burnsall in 1877. Children: Marion Augusta(1878), Wilfred Constantine (1879-1935), John William (1881-1916), Joseph Constantine (1884- 1954 ) and possibly also Vere and Stanley (born after 1891).

Any connection with yours?
