Hello Lynne
I thought I'd re-visit some old sites & try & get a better picture, & your message rang a bell with something i found.
Born 1693, James Constantine, father Richard Constantine
Married 1718 - James married Catherine Whaley. Occupation Farmer, in Hawes
Children: 1722 Stephen, 1724 Jane, 1726 James,
1734 Elizabeth, 1736 Micheal

1760 Nov 25 Micheal married Phebe, Castle Bolton. Children :
1761 Thomas, 1768 Matthew, 1771 Catherine, Died 1772, 1773 Catherine (?) 1777 Frances died 1777, 1778 Phebe, 1782 James

The Catherine b 1773 m Ralph Peacock in 1799 & had 8 kids
Mark, b 1799 died aged 1 yr, Betty b 1800, Micheal b 1805-d1810, Ralph b 1807, Catherine b 1813, Phoebe b 1816, Micheal b 1819,William b 1820

Seems a bit stange that they were having kids so late in life!! But thats what the site leads you to believe. Found all this on www.familysearch.org.uk

Hope that this helps. Do you have the names Fred, William, or John Thomas in your findings? Beleive John Thomas to be GGFather, he was from Todmorden.

Thanks
