I have been researching Asaph who was the father of Lois b about 1766 who married John Myrick. Asaph and his wife Sarah Parker probably had ten children: Samuel, Amasa, Asaph, Susannah, Sarah, Thankful, Joseph, Hannah, Charles and Lois.
An Asaph and an Asaph Jr as well as Amasa appear in the 1790 census in the town of Granville, Washington County, New York. Granville is now known as Fort Ann.
A Charles Cook is listed in Westfield Town, Washington County, New York as is John Mirick (Myrick).
Also listed in Granville are Ichabod, Amborse, Enos and Didamus Parker. I have that Susannah married Ichabod Parker. Some have that she died in 1770 but with no sources. Ichabod is listed as having a male child under the age of 16 and a female as well as himself in his household. I think she probably did not die in 1770.
I have not had much luck locating many of the children of Asaph's children other than Lois and John Myrick's. Lois and John removed to Cairo, Greene County, New York or at least Lois did as she is said to be buried there.
