Anson,
As you said the 1880 Census has William & Charlotte (VanDusen) Coolidge as having six children. William & Charlotte were my gg-grandparents. For many years I have wondered just who their daughter "Malison" was. In all my research the only time I came across this child was in the 1880 census, then tonight I found Charlotte's obit. and it said she had six children. The only name I didn't reconize was Mrs. Andrew Cook. I am assuming that this was "Malison". Do you happened to know if this was her real name, or anything else about her.
