My father was maxie cooner ,born in calhoun county in 1918, the yougest of 7 children , my grand fathers name was john cooner . he and my grand mother sllie are buried in crowder mississippi i have some info i would be happy to share my dad left home in 1938 and joined the army and never returned but i have info on his brothers and sisters Mmy dad mentioned a uncle grover on a few occasions drop me a line and i be happy to send what i have. My name Is Jerry cooner and i lve in salem virginia MY moter was from here met my dad during WWII here when he retired from the army in 1963 we settled here
