John, Here's what I have - some of it has not been confirmed as of yet. Others have shared their trees with me. What I do know is true is facts concerning Esther (Cooner) Swindle and her family.
Generation 1: James Patmon Cooner, b 4/10/1787 in Abbeville, SC, died 1855 in Walker Co., AL. He married Martha Lollar, daughter of Jacob Lollar and Elizabeth Gaunt. She was born 12/03/1794 in SC and died in 1856 in Walker Co. Both are buried in Walker Memory Gardens, Jasper, AL.
Their children were:

Generation 2: Their son, James Carrol was born 12/25/1835 near Pleasant Grove, AL. Died 09/11/1914 in Townley, AL. He married Mahala Martha Parthenia Lawson 3/16/1854 in Holly Grove, AL.
Both James Carrol and his wife Mahala are buried in the Files Cemetery, West of Townley, AL.
James Carrol Cooner and Mahala's children were:
Generation 3: James Patmon Cooner born 02/08/1861 in Beach Grove. He married Eva Lucinda Files 03/22/1888 (known in my family as "Maw Cooner"). She was born 10/08/1868 in Carbon Hill, AL. And died in 03/01/1969 in Walker Co., AL. Both James Patmon and Eva are buried in McDade Cemetery, Carbon Hill, AL.
Generation 4: The Children of Eva and James Patmon were:
1)Esther Calpenia Cooner, b.1889 in Walker Co., died about 1974 in Forestdale, AL. She married Thomas Clinton (AKA Clint) Swindle in 1905. He was the son of Adam Crane Swindle and Nancy Brannan. He was born 12/1882 in Walker Co., AL and died 1949. Both Esther and Clint are buried In McDade Cemetery.
Esther Calpernia Cooner, my great-grandmother's children were:
1)Susan Alice, b. about 1917, Carbon Hill, died about 1975, buried in Midway Cemetery
8)Ella, b. March 06, 1911, Walker Co., died August 03, 1912, Walker Co., AL
9)Melvina, b. 02/10/1916, died 12/19/1916
10)Infant, b. 07/02/1908, died 07/04/1908
11)Infant, b. 02/10/1918, died 02/10/1918
Generation 5: Susan Alice Swindle, married Robert Elliott Smith. He was the son of Fannie Clark and Robert C. Smith of Carbon Hill, AL. He was born 10/17/1911. And he died 4/20/94. Both are buried in Midway Cemetery, B'ham, AL.
