That would answer a lot of questions for me. We know that Ulrich's eldest son returned but was he Ulrich, Jr. (who in his will referred to himself as Sr., adding to the confusion) or was his name Josephus (as referred to in the letter of Oliver Coonrod). Neither the names nor the gender of the 3 children who perished at the hands of or were kept by Shawnees is not clear. Barbara is the only child mentioned by name in the PA Gazette and there doesn't seem to be any record of what happened to her.
Ulrich Sr.'s will, which I have not seen and is supposedly in German, reportedly only refers to a daughter Elizabeth (who married John Zumwalt) and son, Ulrich, Jr.
A Van Gundy family history lists as many as 9 children for Ulrich Sr., but no Barbara, and says that sons John and Frederick were executors.
I know this is just a rehash of what's already been posted; I wish I could be more helpful. Maybe some new information will surface.
