Dear Joseph:

I have recently discovered my family's connection with the Copeman's of Lancashire. My great, great grandfather, Henry Isherwood (born abt 1826) married a Sarah Copeman (born abt 1836).The marriage took place at Christ Church Salford Lancashire in approx 1849. I do know her father's name was George Copeman. They had at least one son James Isherwood who was born in Stockport, the district of Heaton Norris in 1853. Henry's occupation was either weaver or dyer at various times.

I realize your posting is so old you are a grown man now, but if you have heard of any of the above mentioned I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you.

George Barrington
