Hi, I am a new boy on the block.
Whilst trying to trace name etc for my new born grandchild, I came across this site.
My great grandparents were born in Nolfok, probable in the Field Dawling area. I have photo,s on fine porcelane circa 1885 of them but do not know there names or any other information. My Grandfather was Ernest Copeman who was a Butcher in the Tooting area of London. He died in about 1947, I think he had several brothers one of whom was called Thomas. My information about the family name is that it originated in Holland when the Dutch were brought over to irrigate and farm the low waters of the Norfolk area. The name means Cattle Man or Butcher. All the Copemans I have ever spoken to originated from Norfolk.

Brian L. Copeman
