Don,
I've just started researching the Copp's myself. Here is what I have found so far.
Leland Copp had at least one brother named Vivian.
Fred Copp was the son of Orrin and Alice Copp. Minnie's last name was Starkweather. He had at least 4 siblings, Frank, Minnie, Mabel and Clinton.
Orrin was the son of Harrison Copp, Harrison was the son of John Copp who moved to Tioga County, PA from RI possibly via NY sometime before 1830. Three of his sons have NY listed as a place of birth .
My connection to all this is that John is my g.g.g.g.grandfather. My line is John, James, James Jr., Sanford, Lawrence and Lawrence M. Your wife and I are cousins 5 times removed.
A great source of information is Joyce Tice. She has done a website on Tioga, Bradford and Chemung Counties. If you do a google search for her name, the first listing is her website.
Best of luck.
Missy Stebbins nee Copp
