Evaline COUPEE m: Malcijah Benjamin (Kige) HIGHSMITH, Bastrop Co., TX
Thanks for your response. When I see the spelling it makes me think of a French pronunciation, cou-pe'. Of course, I really have no clue. This is the only spelling I have been able to locate for Evaline.
Malcijah Benjamin (Kige) HIGHSMITH, son of Teresa (Williams) HIGHSMITH and Samuel HIGHSMITH, Capt., was born 17 May 1827 in Old Caney, Bazoria Co., Texas, and died 4 May 1893 in Bastrop, Texas.
He married Evaline COUPEE 1851 in Bastrop Co., Texas.
