Clarence, I do not have anything on the Dameron family. Wm Coppedge (1711-1766) is believed to have first married Sarah (Robinson). He secondly married Rebecca Martin Basye on 19 Jan. 1763. Rebecca was the widow of William Bayse (son of Isaac Bayse). This is found in the VA Hisory Magazine of History & Bio, Vol XLVII, page 43. Wm Copedge of Wicocomoco Parish in Northumberland County & Colony of VA left a will (Rec Bk 6, 648-649). He left goods to his wife Rebeckah, his son Isaac, his son Charles, son Moses, daughter Sarah, daughter Betty. Son Isaac was the Executor and Wm Blackerby, Moses Lunsford and John Cooke were the witnesses. Will was proved in court on 12 May 1766. You have the copy of Rebecca's will. Catron, Sallie and Isaac must have been by her first husband. Maybe this will help, but no Damerons were mentioned.
