I have been tracing Coram"s to try and see if I can find a connection to Jackson"s, have been told all my life Thomas Coram & John Jackson were half brothers, They were not as far as I can determine. Supposedly Warren(Thomas's Dad) Married John Jackson's Mother Ann Mitchiner after Mr.Jackson died. He did not,he married Ann Hodoson. The only thing I know for sure is: there is a grave marker at Benevolence Cemetery, Randolph County,Georgia next to the coping where the Corams are buried for John Jackson. As a child, we visited and were visited by the Corams, (AS Cousins).
I can find no evidence of anything connecting Corams & Jacksons, I am beginning to believe there is no Connection. I think John's dad was William Jackson as John enlisted in War of 1812 in Fairfield County, S.C, In the 1790 and 1800 Census's for Fairfield there was only William Jackson listed as head of houshold with one male 16 or under. He was only Jackson listed. I have no info on John except Military record which give no pertinent info at all. DO YOU have any thing pertaining to Jackson's & Coram's relation>
Thank you for your answer, it will be greatly appreciated.

Rubye Jackson Lewis
