William G. Coram (1819 – 1897) was born in England. He married Charlotte Edds (1817 – 1891). They moved to Ontario, Canada in 1856 and later to Missouri, USA in 1868. In England, they had children William E. (1843 - ?), John James (1846 - ?), George H. A. (1851 - ?), and Wrenford H. (1852 – 1943). In Canada, they had Alfred (1856 – 1933), Amanda (1860 - ?), and Charlotte (1863 - ?).
The mother and father brought Wrenford, Alfred, Amanda, and Charlotte to Missouri with them. I think William E. and George H. A. stayed in Ontario. John James moved to Ohio although I am not sure when.
Alfred married Dulca L. Hill (1866 - 1956) in Linn County, MO, 1884. Their children (as of 1900) were Nora M. (1884 - ?), Lester J. (1886 - ?), Alden E. (1890 - ?), Orland E. (1891 - ?), Bentford A. (1894 - ?), George W. (1896 - ?), and Hazel C. (1898 - ?). As an interesting aside, Alfred and Dulca were in contact with and visited a branch of the Coram family in Montana that was descended from a brother of William G. Coram, named James Coram, so apparently more of the Corams moved to the New World than just William G. and Charlotte.
Wrenford married Eveline M. Hill (1852 – 1938). Their children were William G. (1876 - ?), Thomas A. (1878 - ?), David W. (1880 – 1967), John E. (1884 – 1960), Arthur D. (1886 – 1947), Charles L. (1888 - ?), Everett A. (1891 – 1955), Danzil H. (1895 - ?), and Elma C. (?).
Charlotte married Thomas J. Hill in Linn County, MO in 1882.
Does anyone know if there is any relationship between Dulca Hill, Eveline Hill, and Thomas Hill?
I am descended from William G. through Wrenford H. and John E. who is my grandfather.
