Nice work; it is good that someone picked up where Rigsby left off. I hope that someone also carries this research in the other direction. Who were the ancestors of "your" William Coram? Where did they come from? When did they come to America? Is he descended from the William Coram, Gentleman, listed in the "Visitation of the County of Devon in the year 1620"? Is he related to Capt. Thomas Coram, founder of the London Foundling Hospital? (Note that one of his children is named Thomas, and Rigsby suggests a possible connection.)
By the way, I am descended from a different branch of Corams. They immigrated to America in 1856 ending up in Missouri, Ohio, and Ontario. Thus, I cannot help much with your effort.
