Hi - did you ever receive a response re Thomas Coram's 'brother' William?
My step-grandmother, Rosemary Casson (nee Tame), was the grand-daughter of Annie Henrietta Coram (1868-1907) and a 'supposedly' a descendent of Captain Thomas Coram, so I told her I would investigate.
I realise any possible descendants would have been 'born the wrong side of the blanket' because, according to the Oxford DNB, Thomas Coram's marriage to Eunice Wait(e) was childless.
I wondered if you could give me any pointers? I believe Annie Henrietta had siblings: Amelia (b1863), Henry (b1865) and Stephen (b1870) - all children of Thomas Coram (b1811) and Elizabeth (b1806) from Devon, England. Are any of these names in your family tree?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you and kind regards,
Alex Leighton-Goodall
