Somehow I missed your earlier message on the Curham family in Devon England. I believe my Curham line originated there, but have not yet tied together. My great grandfather was born in Cavan, Ireland. His father Robert Curham and mother Mary Ann Darker moved the family to Dublin. My only surviving aunt in that line has told me that they had family in England, but don't know who. I have requested some records from Ireland, but they haven't yet arrived. I am hoping that they will find something that will help in the searches.
My great grandfathers death certificate said his father was John George Curham, but I have reason to believe that was incorrect as I have since found some third cousins from the Curham line in Australia and New Zealand and we believe the fathers name was Robert. My great grandfather used his brothers name to draw military pension. He died in 1930. I will look forward to hearing from you. I just received notice from a responsibe from a Pauline in London. I will be coming to London in August.
Look forward to hearing from you.
