I also desend from the Fauquier line of Corums. My line seems to have [married] into the Huffman (German) family. This is what I know: In the 1860 census record (Fauquier Co. Va.) there is Mahala E. Coram b. abt. 1826 as head of house, listed as mulatto. Along with her are a number of children, all listed as mulatto. Some I believe to be her siblings. There are two that I believe are her children with Thomas Huffman. Thomas Huffman b. abt. 1833 is listed last in her household and is the only one listed as caucasian. They had two known children George b. about 1856 who married Maria "Belle" Coram (daughter of Susan Coram and unknown father) in Fauquier Co. Va. in 1885 and James b. abt. 1859 died 1876. I also believe they were the parents of Margaret who married John Malvin in 1878 in Fauquier Co., Dolly who married a Mr. Trump and John.
Maria "Belle" Coram b. abt 1860 had 5 siblings: Elizabeth b. abt. 1852, Raliegh b. abt. 1854, Harriet b. abt. 1856, Annette b. abt. 1863 and Mit?? b. abt. 1865.
Can you help with this family?
Thank you.
