I keep hitting a brick wall..my Nixon Covey was born 1791, Maryland, was in KY for the war of 1812 and have hit a brick wall concerning his ancestry; I'm thinking his name may have been transcribed as something other than what it was, such as Corey and various spellings, Coney, and various spellings, Cove, Cave...I'm desperate to find info about him before I first find him on 1830 Montgomery Co, KY, Census, 1840 on Morgan Co, KY, Census, 1850, on Breathitt Co, KY Census and on 1860 & 1870, he's found on Estill Co, KY Census; he died 1879; married to Susan Willoughby, born ca 1811, died 1881, Estill; she was born KY, her parents from TN; if anyone finds something relating to this "mess", please e-mail me at grannymom@irvineonline.net Thanks, Diana Covey Frymyer Mussaw
