I GIVE UP---YOU MUST THINK I AM TOTALLY INEPT! I really tried doing everything you suggested. However, I will go along with your finding as I also think that John was Zadoc's son. What do you think the problem was with his name on (or not on) the marriage certificate? You might also want to contact this person, who wrote me in 2005. She is: Her Corey line is John W.Corey, and his son, Thomas Z. Corey (she suspected the Z stood for Zadoc.) He was born 1834/37 in Ohio and died 1911 in St.Louis, Mo. He was in the Missouri Militia in the Civil War.
I will still send you the info.
