Hello Diane

I am interested in this aspect of the Swedish Anderssen's

At YBASE I have one 25 marker YNDA overlap with a Corey, and another 32 marker match with a CORYELL - who might be linked to another few CODDINGTON matches.

Anyhow, one of my YDNA ancestral cousins - a metallurgist by the name of BELIERE or BALLUR (perhaps a corruption of BALLUARD(from BELVOIR-BEAUVOIR??) was recruited in the 162O from his moe area near Liege, and persuaded to help produce armaments for the Swedish Crown during the Thirty Years War.
He was won of the many 100's even 1000's of VALLONIAN SWEDES (Walloons who became Swedes). His descendants appear to have been ANDERSSON;S....hence the YDNA instances of ANDERSSON, I assume

I'd love to know the date of you KARE/COREY Swedish story...
If only to know whether it might link to this same exodus.
