Thanks for checking. Looking at my notes, I think I was actually looking at Jasper's brother David as being the candidate for George's father. He had three wives and had moved to NJ at some point, then to Vermont. George was probably born 1777 per census records. Someday he'll show up. I have a father-son pair of cousins who are direct male-line descendants of George, and the father expressed interest in trying a Y-DNA test to at least place George among the three main Corey immigrant families. But he was very old and kind of lost track of that idea.
