I have seen a family tree and Giles did have a son I know my great Uncle Clifford Corey had done extensive research and even went to England to follow the lineage, we are directly related to Sir Francis Drake and Giles Corey,Gideon Corey,Gardner Corey on up. I currently live in connecticut, USA but have a summer residence in New Brunswick, Canada where most of my relative's reside since Gideon moved his family there after the revolution with land (200 sectors) presented to him from the king for his loyalty. He felt better to have one dictator a thousand miles away than a thousand dictators a mile a way. We may be the CT Corey's you were looking for repost if more info is helpful. Our family became very successful with lumber, paper mill, and lots of real estate. I hope this helps.
