Silas Corey

What's currently known about the descendants of Silas Corey b. 8 May 1750 in East Greenwich, Washington co., R.I.?? As far I have been able to determine, the only commonly accepted descendant is Reynolds Corey. If the 1790 census for Hoosick, New York showed his family as having "2 males over 16, 4 males under 16 and 4 females", have not ANY other descendants been determined?? If not, does that imply those Corey lines springing from NY in the early 1800s with no know progenitor probably stem from Silas??
