Corey Family from Rhode Island settled in NY after 1811
I am looking for my Great Great GreatGrandmother's family. She was born in Rhode Island in 1811 as Sarah Ann Corey or Cory, I am not sure on the spelling. Her family settled in the finger lakes region of NY, where she married Calvin Hayward/Howard of Livingston county NY about 1830. Calvin, Sarah, and their six children moved to Antrim Township, Shiawassee Co. MI in 1849. All I know of Sarah's family is that she had a sister named Fanny who married a William Williston and settled in Ionia Co. Michigan. Her mother's name was supposedly Catherine or Katherine and she died in NY in the 1840's. Sarah's father's name remains a mystery but I know that he died sometime after 1833 because
a letter that Sarah's son wrote home from the civil war talkedof his memories of "Grandpa Cory" and the son was born in 1833. If anyone has any information that could help me find Sarah' s father's name , please let me know.
Thank-you.
