Hello, Beth. We Pennsylvania Coreys have been trying for a while now to find our link back into New York State in the mid-1800's. Our earliest known Corey ancestor is John S. Corey, b 1800 in New York State. His wife's name was Catherine, b 1820 in New York State. Their children were Mary b 1837, John b 1838, Samuel b 1841, William b 1843, George b 1844 (all in New York State) and Hanna b 1848 and Elisha b 1850, both believed born in Wayne Co., Pa. The family's origin is said to be England. Please keep us in mind in case you spot any connection.

Lou
