Corey line from RI to Fulton Co & Montgomery co. NY

We have received DNA proof that we are descended from the William Corey line one of the original progenitors to the United States. Our research has documented our line as follows:
Robert Corey son of Clifford Edwin Corey m. Marie DeLacy
Clifford Corey son of Clarence Corey m. Ruth Snyder
Clarence Corey son of George Edwin Corey m. Sarah Jane McDowell
George Corey son of Abram T. Corey m. Susan Bates
Abram Corey son of John W. Corey m. Mary Travis (note some indications have been that John's W was an H. We know that John was born in RI and that his wife Abram and son Smith P. died in Northampton/Fulton/Montgomery Co., NY. We know that John appeared in the 1850 census of Northampton. His wife Mary died in 1872. We can find no indication of John's death, burial or move elsewhere thus blocking our confirmation of who his father may be & leading us to the trail of William. If you have any information whatsoever that may be of help please contact me by email asap. Visiting NY soon and would love to do the hunt there if info can lead us to it. Thanks in advance.
