COREYs - Onondaga, NY 1800s-1820s

OK, I'm tired of this x&^%$%#$# brick wall! I have James Corey born 1777 in East Greenwich, RI. In Onondaga county, NY early 1800s then to Illinois. I'm aware of other Corey researchers with similar brick walls with other Coreys in Onondaga NY about the same time. It would make sense that at least some of these are sons of Silas Corey. Silas had six sons on the 1790 census, later in Onondaga with (only?) Reynolds Corey attributed to Silas. What happened to the other five? Who was George Corey, Thomas Corey, John S. Corey, Elisha Corey, Calvin Cory/Corey, Benjamin Cory/Corey and my James Corey??? (all in Onondaga between 1800 and 1820 along with Silas and Reynolds) If you have one of these as your brick wall, I'd like to hear from you. If you have an answer to this, I'd LOVE to hear from you!

Richard Corey in Kenmore, WA
