According to all of the data I have, the Stephen Corey who was born in 1844 was the youngest son of Benjamin Corey and Ruth Tanner, who were residing in Crawford Co., PA., from at least 1838 to 1845, when they moved on to Williamstown, Dodge Co., Wisconsin. This is a Seventh Day Baptist family, with long ties to Rhode Island. Please contact me at allyn@surferie.net. It would appear that we share some of the same Tanner ancestors.
