Les
I have been looking for a Margaret Corlett born in Ramsey in 1851. Could she be one of the 9 children you mention? My Margaret married Henry Redding from Warwick England and they went to live at a house named Glen Bottom in Newchurch, Lancashire. In the 1881 census they had 4 children, Jane, Robert, Margaret and Thomas, all born in Waterfoot, Lancashire. Margaret was my Gt. Gt. Grandmother and she met her husband when he went over to the Isle of Man to work on the building of the Laxy Wheel!
I do hope I have found her, and sorry I can't help you at the moment, I'm going forward instead of backwards as you would wish. But if we are looking at the same family then maybe we could help each other at some time
cheers
janet (from Brinscall, Lancashire)
