Hi again Les
another bit of info -
I was pretty sure this was the same Margaret, so I looked on the IGI for William Corlett. Didn't find him, I'm sure you have already looked there. but what I DID find was a William Corlett, born about 1740, IoM, who married in IoM on 8-6-62, his wife had the first names Elinor Christian! Christian is a strange name for a female, it's usually given to a male, and since both these names appear in William Juan Corlett's children, I would hazard a guess that they are related in some way. The info was in the pedigree resource files, and was submitted by someone in the USA. This William had a son called Robert Corlett, born in IoM 1762, died 1827 in Tenessee USA. Since this info is in the pedigree resource file, I guess the submitter has more info. I'll look again later, but it's a bit late now so I'm off to bed!!
hope this helps you
ps - I knew my Gt. Gt grandmother was a Corlett from IoM but only recieved her first name and actual place of birth last week. This was the first time I looked at Corlett on this forum, and you had posted your message just 8 hours earlier! If there wasn't anything interesting I probably wouldn't have looked again for ages. Strange or what?
