I recently met a man who provides coats of arms for any surname, and asked him to do one for Cormack. He looked it up in a reference book of Scotish Arms, and the arms which were granted in Scotland are:Argent, a fesse dancettee between 3 eagles displayed gules. He provided me with the Arms in colour, a short history and origin of the name and a certificate for ten pounds sterling. Should anyone be interested, I could either supply his name and address, or even order them for you. BTW, he says the name derives from the early celtic "Corb-mac" - charioteer or chariot lad
