Following Andrew's Comment i feel that i mist clear the fact about the name 'Cormac'.
Cormac (rather than Cormack) was and still is used mainly in ireland as a first name.
It is believed that the Cormack's were chased out of Ireland for stealing Hourses, where they then settled in the highlands of Scotland. To save face, all remaining cormacks within Ireland Scanged their name to McCormack.
