My branch of the London Cormacks originated with my Great Grand-Father. Originally from Buckie(sp?) on the NE coast of Scotland he originally emigrated to South Africa where he met my Great-Grandmother and returned to London where he worked as a Police Constable in Bermondsey, South East London. We believe that he joined the British Army during WW1 and died from wounds received. The family still lives mainly in SE London or the outskirts.
