Hi Carol - I thought I was related to the Stepney Cormacks until I saw your message! I have a William Cormack in Woodford who married 1811 and was buried age 58 in 1840. I found your William Cormack 21 April 1782 Stepney and hoped he was the same one. Especially as his sister's second wedding was performed by Rev Henry Purrier who I think is the brother of John Vincent Purrier who employed William Cormack in Woodford. But know it seems your William stayed in Stepney.... so now I am still looking for my William's baptism. Has anyone got a William Cormack born about 1782?
